StreamHub — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of StreamHub, a desktop application developed and published by Accoustium Studios ("Accoustium," "we," "us"). By downloading, installing, or using StreamHub, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the application.

What StreamHub is

StreamHub is a local-first desktop social publishing hub. It lets you connect your own accounts on Discord, and, in the Pro edition, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, Threads, Bluesky, and TikTok, and publish content to any combination of them from a single compose window. It runs on your own computer and posts using your own accounts and credentials on those platforms.

License

Accoustium grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use StreamHub on devices you own or control. The Demo edition is free to use. The Pro edition is unlocked with a one-time purchase and is licensed, not sold — you're paying for the right to use the software, not acquiring the underlying code or intellectual property. StreamHub is not sold on a subscription basis, and a valid Pro purchase does not expire on its own.

You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, sublicense, or redistribute StreamHub, in whole or in part, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.

Your accounts, your content, your responsibility

Everything StreamHub posts, it posts because you told it to, using your own connected accounts. You are solely responsible for the content you compose and publish through StreamHub, and for making sure that content complies with the terms of service, community guidelines, and content policies of each destination platform. Accoustium does not review, moderate, or approve any content before it's posted, and is not responsible for platform actions taken against your account (removal, suspension, reduced distribution, or API access changes) as a result of what you choose to publish.

Your use of each connected platform through StreamHub remains governed by that platform's own terms of service and API policies, in addition to these Terms.

Where StreamHub connects to TikTok specifically, that connection is authorized through TikTok's own OAuth login flow. Because TikTok's login flow requires a real web redirect rather than one that stays entirely on your device, a small callback service Accoustium operates briefly relays the connection token back to StreamHub; see StreamHub's Privacy Policy for exactly what that involves and how long anything is retained.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use StreamHub to:

Post content that violates the terms of service, community guidelines, or content policies of any platform you post to;
Post spam, misleading content, or content intended to harass or defraud;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data that isn't your own;
Distribute malware or interfere with the operation of StreamHub, the platforms it connects to, or Accoustium's supporting infrastructure; or
Use StreamHub in a manner that violates applicable law.

Discord webhooks

Discord connections in StreamHub use webhook URLs you create and manage yourself in your own Discord server settings. You're responsible for keeping those URLs private and for revoking or regenerating them if you believe they've been exposed; Accoustium has no ability to do this on your behalf.

No warranty

StreamHub is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee that StreamHub will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every configuration of every platform it connects to, particularly as those platforms change their own APIs over time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Accoustium Studios and Tim Pogue will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use StreamHub — including losses resulting from platform account actions (removal, suspension, or API access loss) taken as a result of content you published.

Termination

You may stop using StreamHub at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your ability to use features that depend on Accoustium-operated infrastructure (such as the TikTok connection relay) if we reasonably believe your use violates these Terms, without affecting the locally-installed application's other functionality.

Changes to StreamHub or these Terms

We may update StreamHub's features and these Terms as the application evolves. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use StreamHub after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Accoustium Studios operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
